So while we were visiting my Grandparents (summer 2010) we decided to go to Bryce Canyon because Luke had never been and it had been ages since I had visited. Grandpa got us in on his pass which saved us lots of money. The day was beautiful! We hiked down through bryce and came out just a mile away from my Grandparents house in Tropic. It was a fun hike but we had to turn off the main trail somewhere and finding that somewhere proved to be difficult since I couldn't remember the last time I had done that hike. But after traveling up a wash for a half a mile we finally connected to the trail. Luke found this trail marker that wasn't much help but was kind of fun.
We took cholo even though dogs weren't allowed in the park (woops didn't figure that one out till we got there). As we walked the little lizards would scatter and cholo would chase them until they got too far into a bush for him to follow. It is always fun to bring back childhood memories of spending weeks at a time with my Grandparents hiking, rabit hunting, learning how to drive and cook.
